... So says the executive director of the Center for Auto Safety based in Washington.

Basically lots of older Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Liberty vehicles have fuel tanks mounted behind the rear axles. Some of them like to catch fire when in accidents.

The "experts" want Chrysler to recall them (1.56 Million vehicles) while Chrysler has been insisting they're safe. Now Chrysler has proposed a way to fix them...

... by installing trailer hitches:

Well, they can't very well redesign the whole truck after-the-fact and it's only a proposal at this time.

I'm up in Potsdam for work during the summer and school for the rest of my life and I'm wondering if there is anything going on in the way of car meets or just a couple car guys who are down to hang out or cruise every once in a while. I see a couple nice cars rolling around here so I'm hoping there's a chance.

Best way to clean your cars interior? detail guys step in

Soo my cr-z's interior is dirty from over the winter (carpet,seats etc) My question is, do I just pay delta sonic the $89 for the shampoo interior detail? Or is it worth it/ cheaper to rent a rug doctor from wegmans and do it myself?

I havent had to do this in years, last I did I was 18 and just took my car to delta, and the result was decent. So if someone could point me in the best direction id appreciate it!
